Spring Update 2010

The 17th annual Coho Bon Voyage event is scheduled for Sunday June 6, 2010 from 11am to 3 pm at the Terminal Creek Hatchery and from 1pm to 2pm at the Lagoon Causeway. Visit our celebration and release some wild Coho Salmon Fry into Terminal Creek right at the hatchery location or at the freshwater Lagoon Causeway. As always, all ages are welcome.
Sunday May 03, 2009 at the Lagoon (about 12 noon). We are going to release our wild Chum. About 100,700 of them. Chum are the fish that soon after they hatch they want to get into the ocean and not hang around in our Bowen Streams. We will be loading them up at the hatchery and into the DFO truck and then transporting them to the Lagoon for release.
