The Bowen Island, Terminal Creek Hatchery, is 100% volunteer run by the Bowen Island Fish & Wildlife Club. We do not have regular open hours except for special events like the Coho Bon Voyage. But! Depending on the time of year the hatchery may have developing wild salmon eggs in the egg trays and always salmon in the tanks ready to be released into our streams. Our volunteers are at the hatchery almost every day to clean, feed and care for the salmon.
If you see anyone in the hatchery we would be glad to give you a tour right then. If you would like to set up a personal tour for one or many just contact us any time of the year.
Cost? No cost but small donations are always appreciated.
